Remington College of Nursing ABSN is a relatively new program in Lake Mary, Florida. The nursing program has recently received accreditation from CCNE and the college is regionally accredited by the ACCSC. This means there are no concerns for students to go from BSN to MSN later on in their nursing career.
If you completed all prerequisites courses and already hold the required baccalaureate degree, the program is 12 months long (four continuous academic quarters) with an all-in cost of $36,050 which includes tuition, books, uniforms, malpractice insurance and all other fees. It is known as a very intense program with long days and no traditional academic breaks. At the end of the program, you will have to pass the HESI test with a score of 850 in order to graduate. There is a 95% correlation of passing the HESI with a 850 and passing the NCLEX-RN. This is probably the reason why Remington has a 100% pass rate for 2010’s NCLEX-RN.
