List of Low GPA Accelerated Nursing Programs

Below is a list of nursing schools with accelerated programs that may take students with a GPA below 3.0. The information is accurate as of September 2009, but minimum GPA requirements may change over time.

Low GPA Nursing School Information

Keep in mind that there are schools  that will calculate the GPA based upon the last 60 units, which means it is possible to wipe out a bad undergraduate GPA with two years of excellent academic work.

Nursing Schools With No GPA Requirement

There are nursing programs in this list that have no minimum GPA at all. Students with very low GPA may want to consider looking at those institutions in order to avoid automatic rejection from applying at schools with a minimum GPA that they don’t qualify for.

Most schools disregard graduate level work for the calculation of GPA. It is well known that there is a substantial amount of grade inflation due to the higher minimum 3.0 required to graduate.
